Description
Supervises the quality control function, the processing of Housing Assistance Payments and the production of certain reports required by the Durham Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. Supervises the compilation of data and preparation of budgets for the HCV program. Trains staff in quality control and program requirements. Reviews and edits the accuracy of checks and prepares reports. Supervises the production of vendor and client payments. Reviews inspection reports completed by inspectors to determine compliance with housing quality standards and to determine the consistent application of standards among inspectors. Interfaces with property owners and program participants on matters pertaining to the payment of housing assistance. Position requires bachelor's in public administration, business administration, accounting or related field and three years experience in processing of Housing Assistance Payments and performing quality control/audit functions, along with three years supervisory experience in payments and compliance functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. HCV Management Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hiring.
