The incumbent for this position will be responsible for the analysis of the general ledger and the reconciliation of monthly accounts related to Low Income Public Housing and Affordable Housing Programs. The incumbent will maintain financial records, analyze and reconcile monthly bank and investment statements, monitor compliance with all applicable regulations, and run and submit reports to the appropriate parties. The incumbent will maintain all HUD financial correspondences for the Low-Income Public Housing program and including but not limited to funding, reporting and year end settlements. The incumbent will maintain all financial correspondence for all other funding agencies and investors. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
