The HR Generalist function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. Implement Human Resources policies throughout all levels of the authority, assisting the Director in partnering with management to drive agency-wide programs and initiatives. The incumbent must be a talented, innovative, customer focused HR Solutions Partner with a passion for providing first class HR support to our talented and highly engaged employees. The role requires close collaboration with managers and supervisors and to effectively execute HR functions; proactively seeks to identify and resolve issues driving HR operational excellence through continuous improvement. Work is performed under the general direction of the Director of Administration. Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business administration with coursework in Human Resources, and five (5) years of experience in a human resources office with responsibilities including onboarding & off-boarding, employee relations, benefits administration, investigations, ADA, workers compensation, and HRIS. PHR certification is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
