HOUSEKEEPING
Regular housekeeping supports healthier living conditions for your household and helps protect the quality of our communities. The Agency remains committed to providing support through maintenance services and inspections when needed, and we appreciate your continued partnership in keeping our neighborhoods clean, safe, and well cared for.

RENT COLLECTION
McDougald Terrace has received about 63% of this month's rent. Rent payments help us keep our community safe, clean, and running smoothly. They cover maintenance, utilities, staff, and community programs.

If you're having trouble paying your rent, please contact the management office as soon as possible. We're here to help and can talk with you about payment options or connect you with resources that may be available.

TRANSFER OF ASSITANCE (TOA)

A multi-story building undergoing construction.

Through the Rental Assistance Demonstration program (RAD), DHA can convert a unit's public housing assistance and move it to a new location - either to an existing property or to a property to be constructed. This is known as a  "transfer of assistance" (TOA).

DHA is transferring 75 units from McDougald Terrace to Renegade and Revive.

CLEANING VACANCIES

A set of stairs leading up to a boarded up door and windows.

We are pleased to share an important update our management team has been actively working to address vacant units across the community to ensure they are cleaned and secure.

Over the past several weeks, dedicated crews have been conducting thorough clean-outs of vacant apartments. This process includes removing debris, shutting off the water and electricity. These efforts are a key step toward improving the overall appearance of the property.

For the safety and security of all residents, if you observe anyone entering or accessing a secured vacant unit, please contact the management office immediately. Your awareness and cooperation help us protect our community.

KIOSK FOR RENT

A computer monitor that has the DHA online portal to pay rent open.

To make it easier to pay rent, we want to remind the community that we also provide kiosk access to pay in the management office.

INSPECTIONS

In preparation, McDougald Terrace will soon be inspected by HUD to ensure we meet federal housing standards.

Please help us prepare by:

  • Keeping your apartment clean and clutter-free
  • Making sure smoke detectors are in place and undamaged
  • Keeping hallways and exits clear
  • Disposing of trash properly
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the office

Inspectors may need access to your unit; management will notify you in advance if so.

Your cooperation is necessary in helping our community maintain HUD standards and continue providing quality housing for all residents.
