Check In & Know the Signs - A simple 'How are you?' matters; watch for withdrawal, hopelessness, or mood changes.
Share Resources - Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. - Routine Safety & Awareness
Lock doors/windows, secure vehicles, and remind children not to allow strangers inside. - Firearm Safety
Gun locks are available in the Leasing Office; always store firearms unloaded and locked. - Weather Preparedness
Secure outdoor items before storms, avoid floodwater, stay hydrated in heat, and keep basic emergency supplies ready. - Crime Prevention
Report suspicious activity, stay in well-lit areas, and lock vehicles/remove valuables.
Be a good neighbor - join community watch and look out for each other. - Noise Awareness & Ordinance
Quiet Hours: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.; keep noise under 50 dB at night, 60 dB daytime. Avoid loud music/outdoor speakers late. Respect neighbors; Durham issues citations without warning. - Stay Connected
