Fire Safety Month Prevention Tips
DHA celebrated Fire Safety Month by sharing important prevention tips to help keep residents, families, and communities safe. Throughout the month, we highlighted common causes of household fires, the importance of safe cooking practices, proper use of heating equipment, and the critical role smoke alarms play in early detection. Residents were encouraged to test smoke alarms monthly, keep exits clear, avoid overloading outlets, and never leave cooking or candles unattended.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and DHA remains committed to providing residents with the information and resources needed to prevent fire hazards and respond quickly in an emergency. Residents are encouraged to report any fire safety concerns to their Property Management office or contact 24-hour Emergency Maintenance at 844-RING-DHA (746-4342).
