Individuals with disabilities may request accommodations to DHA rules, policies, practices, or services for equal access to housing or participation in DHA programs. DHA provides reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities to ensure equal access to amenities, services, and programs Accommodation may include building modifications or adjustments to policies, practices, and procedures.

This policy applies to both public housing applicants and residents. While accommodation is provided, individuals with disabilities must still meet the essential obligations of tenancy.
